Question about Sewing Machines

Open Question

I recently bought a brand new "Silvercrest 8750 SN M3 A1" (same model as a sewing machine for £20 :-) However, when I finally got around to opening it afew weeks later I found that it had all the accessories listed, except for the 3 bobbins :-( I can't find my receipt, phoned the local store but they are sold out of the stock (it was a SALE item) and sadly they (LIDL) can't help me with accessories. I've tried several different bobbins from my other 2 machines, they fit perfectly - but they wont bring the loop of bottom/bobbin thread up with the needle??? I'm sure they're very inexpensive - the manual sows them to be ckear, plastic bobbins - so does anyone know where I can purchase some??? It's a shame as it appears to be a very good machine. Thanks in advance, Moira.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: Bottom thread will not catch

I was having the same problem and finally took my machine into the repair shop. When you have tried everything and nothing works, the problem is usually that the timing is off. So when all else fails, I do suggest having the timing checked, most service stores will "troubleshoot" free of charge.
I also just wanted to let you know that even the most seasoned sewers usually cannot set the timing on their own. So don't feel bad!

SOURCE: Thread looping on top and bottom of fabric

hi! there,
on this condition, you can avoid wasting time and material try on this, the problem is your set up of tension thats why.,but you should follow upper theading. see figure,c978815.jpgthis just sample of exact threading, next bobbins set up see fig.the thread should be clockwise rotation on winder5a00a72.jpgfollow this set up,and upon inserting be sure
you have clean feed dogs and shuttle race free from fabrics and threads chips.set dial tension to #3 to #4 and stitch dial to #12.then try this set.and you can watch on you tube sewing. try this stuff on internet address type www.youtube.com then on search box type sewing machine, have enjoy and have a nice day.don't forget to rate me,

SOURCE: Bobbin thread will not stitch.

Have you had the machine serviced since you purchased it? This is something that should be done at least once a year.

Take the machine to a certified Singer dealer and explain what is happening. There may or may not be something that needs to be adjusted.

Your warranty is still in effect, but is now limited. Attempting to repair it yourself or having someone who is not a Singer dealer repair it will invalidate the remaining warranty.
