Question about Myron & Davis ADM167 7 in. Car Monitor
If it just says loading or turns maybe black,it is likely that the laser eye is bad.If you have a dealer fix it,it will likely cost more.If you are able to remove it yourself and take it or send it to an electronics repair shop,it would be cheaper but probably still a minimum of $100.Here is a link for a more accurate estimate.I used to work there and they have contracts with many makers, brands, etc. They may be slightly higher than average place so feel free to check out others.I would call 2 or 3 more personally. If you call, just tell them your model number DVD player, and you want an estimate for a laser eye.If they say send it in and we'll estimate it,hang up and call elsewhere.Any reputable shop will give you an estimate if you ask for the specific request you have.Good luck!
