Maybe I'm not understanding the question, but you said it dries good. Does that mean UNTILL the heating element turns off? If this is the case you will want to check the thermistats with an ohm meter. If they are ok replace the two solenoids located on the gas valve. You can go to the parts store first and buy them if you're not sure what they look like.

Why does The drying process not produce any heat?

If your dryer is electric: need to check for two things: bad over-temp thermostat (open)...or...open heating elements. If gas, check pilot and/or auto firing circuit.

Dryer is taking too long to dry, can the element be worn out? whirlpool, thin twin heavy duty, large capacity

If it heats the element is good. Most likely cause is bad ventilation. check the vent on the outside of the house while dryer is running to make sure you are getting plenty of air flow. If you want to check to make sure its working properly general rule is 6 towels should dry in 60 minutes.

Dryer runs but does not get hot and dry

It runs since the motor is still working and turning the drum. No heat since the heater element is broken so no heat got produced to dry clothes. Replace the heater element to correct the problem. Good luck

Dryer will not heat-up, clothes stay wet even after hours of drying! gas is on, gas bill payed, turning needlessly, no drying.

It is possible that your dryer isn't heating because its heating element is defective. Heating elements are irrepairable. If yours has ceased to function properly, you will have to replace it. Open your dryer's cabinet and locate the heating element so that you can test it.

No heat during drying cycle

your heating element or the thermostats that control the heating element could be bad. research no heat for your make of dryer, it should show how to ohm the thermostats and element for fault. They should all read 000 when ohmed. 000 being a complete circuit. I have been having thermal fuse problems with my whirlpool dryer, so I'm learning as I go.

Though the idea of repairing a clothes dryer can be pretty intimidating, the truth is that some types of repairs are surprisingly easy. Yes, dryers appear to be built like huge, impervious metal boxes, but they are typically pretty easy to open and relatively simple to fix.

As shown at How Clothes Dryers Works, a clothes dryer has a motor that turns a big drum containing the clothes, a heat source for blowing warm air into the drum to dry the clothes, and controls for operating the motor and heat source.
Some dryers have an electric element to do the heating while others utilize a gas flame; the latter must be vented.
Clothes dryer problems generally occur because the heat source doesn't heat properly or the motor fails to turn the drum.
If a gas dryer doesn't dry properly, the first thing to check is the pilot light or igniter--it may not be lighting the burner. The second thing to check is the dryer's vent-if it is clogged with lint, the heating system won't work properly.

Pay attention to basic safety measures when working on a dryer. Always unplug the dryer, and turn off the gas supply to a gas dryer at the appliance shutoff valve.
As with most appliances, maintenance will keep your dryer purring. Clean the lint trap after every load, and clean the vent system once a year.

The tumble dryer does not dry The heater element warms up The fan motor is turning but no heat gets into the drum. Bosch Classixx wash and dry

does the element heat up then turn right back off after a few seconds? if so, there is 2 sensors that control the heat element, one is in the duct right after the fan. when this sensor senses too hot, it will shut down the heat element. either your sensor is bad, or the lint is not getting out, causing the heat to build up in the duct.
