Did you mean to fix the clock from the coffee unit ? if so you need not have to use an invertor to convert to mains the 12 V dc but you can straight away use the 12V dc to be connected to the clock/processor IC with a 12V and 5 Volt regulator as required ( use LM 7812 and LM7805 as required in circuit.)

The rectifier is ok but voltage is 8.5v ac on kymco 500i., wher is the expication?

12 volt battery should be 12-13.2 volts dc normal and 14.5-14.8 vdc at rpms if you only get 8.5 vdc then the charge system ( alternator /stator)is not working or the voltage regulator needs replacing

What is a rectifier

The output of your alternator is A/C. For iy to keep the battery charged it must be D/C.The rectifier converts A/C to D/C.

My bose wave radio 1 somehow switched to military time. There is no clock set button?

Not explicily, but on page 18 of the manual (Bose.com) clock setting is explained...

To set AM/PM (12 hour) or Military (24 hour) time - Press the On/Off button once to turn your Wave radio off.

Press and hold Clock Set, and then press On/Off to switch between AM/PM (12 HR) or military (24 HR) formats

I have a blue hat toy co. time and space projection alarm clock. it says it is a 12/24 hr clock but we can only show military time. is there anyway to just show the 12 hr clock. it is confusing to my son....

We also purchased the same alarm clock and I accidentally figured out how to convert to 12 hour (AM/PM) format from 24 hour format. Once the time is set correctly, and you are out of the time set mode, you can press the UP key and it will toggle between the formats.

I want to convert this power supply for use with a battery charger for model aircraft. I need to know the color codes for the wires and also the pinout and which wire is the power on.

Pin Name Color Description
1 3.3V Orange +3.3 VDC
2 3.3V Orange +3.3 VDC
3 COM Black Ground
4 5V Red +5 VDC
5 COM Black Ground
6 5V Red +5 VDC
7 COM Black Ground
8 PWR_OK Gray Power Ok (is a status signal generated by the power supply to notify the computer that the DC operating voltages are within the ranges required for proper computer operation)
9 5VSB Purple +5 VDC Standby Voltage (max 10mA)
10 12V Yellow +12 VDC
11 3.3V Orange +3.3 VDC
12 -12V Blue -12 VDC
13 COM Black Ground
14 /PS_ON Green Power Supply On (active low). Short this pin to GND to switch power supply ON, disconnect from GND to switch OFF.
15 COM Black Ground
16 COM Black Ground
17 COM Black Ground
18 -5V White -5 VDC
19 5V Red +5 VDC
20 5V Red +5 VDC

/PSON activated by pressing and releasing the power button while the power supply is in standby mode. Activating /PSON connects the power supply's /PSON input to ground, thereby switching the power supply to full-on condition.
18 AWG is recommended for all wires except pin 11, which should be 22 AWG. For 300W configurations 16 AWG is recommended.
There are several ATX variants.
Hope this helps.
If this helps you resolve your problem, please
consider giving me a rating of 4.It will help me as well. Thank you.

Generator is not converting over from 110 to 12 volts, why not?Need a wiring diagram for the convertor box also.

You did not mention your model number, however most generators do not have the 12v charging option. Those that do like yours generally use a seperate winding producing about 14volts ac which is passed thru a full wave bridge rectifier. This rectifier us usually mounted inside the panel usually against metal to absorb heat (gets hot while in use). Look for (about one inch square) rectifier and test with meter. Replacement can be of the Radio Shack variety. Good Luck
