Regarding the installation of the f500 honeywell filter system. does the output of the filter system get ported into the return air prior to the air handeler? I had my unit installed today and i believe it was installed incorrectly. The input to the filter system comes from my return air box but the output is ported into the air box after the air handeler.

Make sure that the new filters you installed are undamaged and correctly seated in it's assembly. When resetting the unit, unit must be powered on then press and hold the appropriate filter indicator button for approximately 10 seconds until the light turns off. If nothings happens, unplugged the unit from the power for about a minute and then try to reset the unit. If all else fails, I would suggest to contact Honeywell for more assistance.

I don't have a manual but basically the intake of the filter connects to the area around the grids. The inside of all the grids connect through a manifold and pipes to the output port of the filter. The pump output should be piped to the return piping of the pool. If you have a heater it should be connected between the output of the filter to the return piping of the pool. If you have a chlorinator the output of the heater it should be connected through a metal-free check valve, into the chlorinator and then to the return piping of the pool. I hope this helps.
pull the filter and cells out. close up and see if the noise is still there. If it is then you have an istallation problem. if not start putting parts back until sound returns.
for now, put switches on thermostat to hear and press the up arrow button to the desired temp. All your programed temps will take more explaining and it would be best you secure a owners instruction book from home depot. oif anything, buy thr same thermostat and either keep it or return it . I'd keep it regardless, read the pmphlet, program you heat and a/c before returning for refund. Don't destroy packaging and give them back everything. You will also need two AAbatteries. Good luck.
The presence
of
“white dust” is actually an indicator that your Electronic Air Cleaner
is
working properly. The Electronic Air Cleaner can only filter the
particles that
are passing through your system’s duct work. The staining particulate is
generally lighter, and more able to be drawn through the return
registers in
your home, leaving the heavier, non-staining particulate behind. This
heavier,
non-staining particulate settles out of the air and is left behind on
your
furniture: because it is more visible, it may appear as though there is
actually more dust in your home than there was prior to installing the
air
cleaner. To ensure that more particulate is able to reach the Electronic
Air
Cleaner to be filtered, you should make sure that the return registers
are
clean and not blocked by furniture.
thanks for your question, you have to install the bypass humidifier on the supply side of your heating system, (hot side) and run a bypass pipe from the return side, (cold side), it does matter which side it goes on, you do not want water vapor going directly into your furnace, as this can damage it and shorten the life of it, your humidistat is installed on the return side of your duct work, this will allow proper operation of the unit as the humidistat senses the moisture in the air and brings on and shuts down the humidifier as needed. hope that helped to answer your question, please let us know what you think, again thanks, mr.grzz
You can try installing the water line to your hot water if it is installed on cold line for more humidification. You should make sure your humidistat is up line 6" @least from humidifier for proper humidification measurement.
