I get this msg when i try to open some programs. (the instruction at 0x70641f15 referenced memory at 0xfffffff. the memory could not be read). Then it shuts the program. what do i do to fix this problem

defragment your hard disk(Local disc C:/) and registry. use any third party softwares like defragler. .etc. then open properties of local disc C -> tools -> check now->tick both check boxes-> ok. restart. dont press any key when prompt leave it for disc check, if any problems found, it may take about 20 min to display desktop. if same problem persists, reinstall the application.

How to install windows 8

By making sure that your hardware and software is fully compatible with Win 8, and that you have a full backup of files because a roll back consists of a clean wipe.

You then can buy an upgrade on line, or disk from a local vendor. The setup is straight forward.

Restore disk has been lost. I need to know how to change bios to allow straight Xp to be installed

This isn't a bios setting, it's a setting that Compaq put somewhere (probably the MBR) of your OS to only allow it's restore discs.
If you want to use straight Windows XP OEM discs, just boot to the disc and you'll be able to install Windows. If that doesn't work, just format your hard drive(you'll lose everything) then boot to the XP and install that way.

I installed a pc dvd game in my computer...the problem is, it hangs during the game. is there a step that i missed or have i installed it in a wrong procedure? can you show me the correct steps installing...

There is problem with the installation as there the installation procedure for games or any other software are very simple and straight forward so do not blame your installation.
There can be two reasons why the game becomes stuck
(1)You do not have enough RAM (For instance the game requires 800 MB and your PC has 512MB of RAM)
(2) Your CPU might be slow (like its 800 MHz while the game requirement is 1GHz)
To check this
(1)On the bottom of your Windows there is a task bar.
(2)Right click on it
(3) On the opening pop up menu select "Task Manager"
(4)On the opening window at the top tabs select "Performance" tab
(5)Turn on the game and observe the bar graph behavior of your CPU and RAM and you will easily find out which components of these two are being over used.

If there is lack of RAM or/and CPU you have to upgrade your computer or may be get a newer faster PC.
If you believe that there is nothing wrong with your hardware then check the media of your game. The game software might have corruptions. The DVD might be damaged you might find scratches on the DVD disc when you hold it at a particular angle on the disk.Try another DVD of the same game to arrive up with a solution.

GOOD LUCK !

When i install fifa 10 or fifa 08 my pc show a problem that, it cannot read the group1.cab file. and then show the error code is 2350

that is basically a disc error. it means that the file named in the error message (.cab) file is not recognized or simply the system cannot copy and extract files from it to complete the installation.
resolution:
Create a folder in your local disk and name it Disk-1 then copy all the files of your cd-installer to that folder. do the same for DIsk 2 and so on. When during copying of files to your local disk produces error like "cannot read from device", it means that the source cd is defective with scratches and you need to buy a new installer. when no errors are detected, then open and run the setup.exe file in Disk-1.

Acer aspire 5310 : did not find any hard disk while xp set up

Try with another fresh XP disc. Check your Bios if it shows hard disc. If bios show the HDD than its problem with your installation CD. If bios does not show HDD than check your HDD power and IDE cable. Replace IDE cable to diognose. If this does not solve, replace HDD.
