Question about Samsung Televison & Video
I just inquired about how much a pawn shop would give me for a WORKING TV and it was a joke,so much that I found a needy family and gave it to them instead rather than have jerks triple their money.I do not know if a TV shop would even want to give $ for a broken TV or not but i would start there first. If they do not want it,they may have a suggestion of who might.Have you checked out repair possibilities? It sounds like 1 of 2 componenets are bad.Either the screen(less likely)or the picture emitter/projector.I am not sure of the part name as I have not worked on TV's since flat screens came out but it basically is an emitter which sends a voltage to the liquid crystal and displays on a secondary screen.I say less likely the screen because it is a completely sealed unit and if the liquid crystal were leaking,it would seem that the screen would be completely no picture by now.Good luck!
