Hello- The usual cause is a bad thermal fuse or heating element. Unfortunately you will need to have a Tech out to look at it, these aren't that easy to take apart and check. Good luck, best regards.

Samsung Dryer dv203aes/xac will not heat. Drum is rotating and lint was cleared from exhaust.

Check the following:
1. Does it have 220 volts (yes it runs, but dryers run on 110 volts)?
2. Check the heating element and the safety thermostats located on the heat element canister. Low air flow from any restriction like lint build up or mashed ducting or blocked air exhaust vent cap can either trip the safety stats or burn out the element. Clean dryer and exhaust ducting thoroughly and replace bad parts before placing back in service. Poor air flow is the number one problem with "No Heat" dryer issues.

I have a 2 year old LG DLE5001w dryer. It stoped heating heater element replaced on 11/21/14. Worked 2 loads stopped heating, replaced switch, worked 3 loads stopped heating replaced thermostats. Did

Most Dryers has a thermal switch that when the air flow gets so hot it will shut down the dryer until it cools down or on some models the thermal switch has to be replaced .. The most common problem to cause this is a restricted air flow somewhere in the exhaust of the heated air causing the dryer to reach too high of temp, which could cause a fire .. Hope this information is help full......

My dryer is an Inglis, heavy duty 6 cycle, 4 temp, autocycle that is about 7 years old. Recently it just heats up but does not dry the clothes. They are steamy hot but wet. I checked the vent, it is not...

It sounds like the blower is not forcing air through the dryer. I would start by turning the dryer on and checking the vent exhaust to see if there is a good healthy air flow where it vents to the outside. If there is not good air flow, start back tracking the air flow for obstructions or other problems. Check the lint filter to be clean, check the air piping to be clear, check the blower to be clear and functioning.

Samsung DV218AEW/XAA not heating

If the technician that came out told you he simply reset your heating element, he was not telling you the truth. Heating elements themselves cannot be reset. The element is either good, or burnt out and would need to be replaced. More common on modern dryers is that the thermal fuse on the side of the heater duct will blow out and needs to be replaced. This is usually caused due to poor air flow because of a lint blockage in the outlet duct. I would recommend calling a good, reputiable service company to repair the issue and to check the outlet duct as well. To get to the heater duct assembly, the top cover, control panel and front panel (including the door) must be removed.

My Kenmore HE5 dryer will not run without blowing an internal fuse. The repairman replaced the fuse, and it blew again. The dryer heats up but will not turn it's heating element off until the fuse blows....

Has any one checked the exhaust vent, other than a bad thermostat the number one cause for the thermal fuse to open is a clogged or restricted exhaust vent flow, the entire vent system needs to be checked ( not just the hose from the unit to the wall) for proper air flow. Turn the unit on TIMED ,AIR DRY (NO HEAT) and go outside to the exhaust vent and check the air flow,if there is any question as to weather the air flow is sufishent get someone out to clean the exhaust vent ,it always a good idea to clean out every few years regardless to help prevent build up of lint witch could cause a fire......Hope this Helps Good Luck

No heat in dryer

Hello there Here are some ideas that may help you
- Things that could stop a gas dryer from heating:
- glow bar igniter, thermal fuse ( not all models ), coils on the gas valve, gas valve, thermostats, motor heat switch, timer, selector switch, sensor.
On the back of the dryer near the fan blower housing is a thermal fuse, if this opens up ( no continuity ) the gas burner often quits but the motor will still run. If the thermal fuse is open/bad, always clean, change, adjust the venting system and vent hood first and clean out the dryers air ducts. Sometimes it is a good idea to replace the operating thermostat at the same time.
Thermal fuse parts help link...on blower housing cover, can not be re-set, must be replaced if is open (no continuity between pins).
hope this is very helpful for you

best regards Michael

AEG T30 Dryer: runs but doesn't heat

i can't remember exactly where it is but there is a thermal fuse adjacent to the heater - check if open circuit. if it is open circuit, it may indicate a lint blockage in the air flow or a build up of lint on the fan
