I just got the MRP-F300 amp installed today and the rear-left speaker completely stopped working shortly after the installed. There is no cracking, hissing, or any noise whatsoever coming from that...

not usualy if you were running them before without the amp the speaker could have still easily blown. with just the deck running the speakers you can clip the sound and damage the coils hook up and amp then you force the power through an already damaged speaker finishing it off try another speaker. or if it was bought used amp may be no good the previous owner probably noticed it cutting in and out and sold it before it fried. or the deck is old and yes it is a possibility the radio went bad. if you used cheap rca cables yes it could be bad as well.

Cuts out at high volume.

and that's fine with the ohm load. But if you have them wired all together or in parrelel it changes the ohm load. You need to wire them all together in parreallel or in series to get the correct ohm load. Check the wiring diagram at www.the12volt.com to see what your options are. the mrp amps are at a 2 ohm load smallest stable so makesure they are wired above or right at

Alpine mrp-f300 cuts sound off when volume is turned up.

the problem when someone become a car audio fanatic is, we want to hear BOOMS but we are not sure how many watts the amplifier can handle, besides that theres one very important thing that most of the installers don't know. its called ohms law (not a joke) that law tells you everything about how to measure the ohms marked on the speaker labels and also the way that you connect the speakers (theres two models; serial circuit and parallel circuit)

every single movement that you make on the connections tells a different story, and if you over load the amp it will auto protect.

i suggest you to set the level at least at 60% so you don't make any damage to the internal components, and don't forget to study ohm's law because a really professional installer knows it and well, they do the matt to get the best performance.

Problems with MRP-M650

as far as it staying on it may have been wired to your hot unstead of your remote on your radio

when it runs wide open it gets hot
how are your gains

I have an alpine and I just hooked up jl 12 w3s and it kinda j did what yours did
it played.. hit hard then no subs.. my mids and highs platyed, but until I would turn off the car and restart the radio the subs immediately came on and the subs are only connected to this aplpine mrp m 650 amp

what speakers and what ohm did they wire it too?

i think my problem was I was overloading my amp feeding it a 2 ohm load or a one ohm load and it was shutting down my subs.. protectection I suppose?

MRP-M450 puts out no sound to the subs

The amplifier may be overloaded, check to see if it can handle 4 OHM loads and 2 OHM loads. if it turns off at high volume the amp may be overloaded. if so try a 8 OHM load. if it still turns off it may be an internal problem.
