Question about Televison & Video
The blinking red light signals the fact that the power source is in protected mode - it's fully functional (as the green light also shows) but has been shut down by it protection system.
The protection system of the source is engaged when 2 things happen: either there's a short on one of it outputs (you will have to test the output voltages to identify the failing board and from there if the board can be repaired - start with the inverter) or if the processor can't load the firmware - this is almost always caused by a hardware failure of the processor and in that case the mainboard will have to be replaced.
In that case it will cost you around $200 to get a replacement board, plus the labor. Now you must decide if the tv is worth that amount of money - in my opinion it doesn't.

You have a bad mainboard. This is a common problem with LG and sister Vizio models. I guess they are cheap though! You can get a new board at http://www.encompass.com or http://www.shopjimmy.com . Be prepared to wait though as there are so many problems with these units that they are trying to get the boards from the factory.
Thanks for using FixYa and for the great rating.

Replace capacitors c520 and c126 to get your power working again.
Also make sure that you don't have a broken green 3 inch jumper wire broke that lies under the heat shield in the top right corner. The wire should be glued to the board for stability. It sometimes breaks loose and will cause the TV screen to stay off.
