The vac is over heating. First, you should try a new filter. Also, keep in mind that after cleaning the filter, make sure that it fully dries. Using a wet or damp filter clogs it quickly. Second, turn the vac upside down and make sure that the roller is fully cleaned and free of hairs and strings. Afterwards, with the vac upside down, quickly power on and make sure that the roller spins and listen carefully for noise at the roller. There may be something stuck inside. If it doesn't spin, verify that the belt has not slipped off or broken.
Good luck.
Already DID THESE THINGS???????
You indicated, "Already DID THESE THINGS", but what are the results? Does the roller spin freely? Is the noise at the bottom? It could be so many things. There could be something stuck near the motor, not easily visible. Or the motor blade could be somewhat jammed. One thing you could try is, remove the belt and try operating without the belt for a while. Make sure that the complete hose is free and clear. With the belt off, does the roller spin freely? Is the noise still present? Does it still turn off?
It really is hard to know without taking it apart. By taking it apart, you will know exactly what the
problem is. Yes, I know, it's easier said than done. Let me know how you make out.
Once again, good luck.
