Make sure your remote wire is hooked up in the right spot, also check your rca plugs and consider replacing them, check all fuses to make sure their not blown, a loose or not good ground wire or power supply wire will also cause this problem. If a power wire has a cut in it, that will also cause fuses to blow, as well as with a ground wire cut, ur amp will not be properly grounded.

I have a PPI PCX-2400 and want to power two TREO subs that handle 2500 watts apiece. What is the best way to ire the PPI to these subs so that I get as much power from the amp to the subs without causing...

That would depend on the impedance (resistance) of the subs. Your best bet would be to use the full power of the amp to one channel (i.e. bridged) instead of to two separate channels (i.e. stereo). Two 4 ohm subs wired in parallel would present a 2 ohm load to the amp, which should allow you to get all 1600w out of it.

This explains series vs parallel quite well:

Need to know how to bridge the channels on the amp is it left pos and right neg or opposite

If you look at the speaker hookup it will say bridged and have a line going to the two that you should use....If it doesnt then it might be an amp that you cant bridge

PPI AMPLIFIER NO SOUND PSX-280

make sure the remote wire from the deck is in the amp but move your ground wire to a new solid metal location you may have to scrape the paint surface where the ground is going to go but it will stop protect mode and run properly (make sure to bolt it down by its self no other wires just the ground from amp) also make sure the ground wire is bigger than the power wire
hope this helped

Cant figure out where to connect the remote wire to

The Remote Wire Connects to the Blue Wire From the Stereo If you have an Aftermarket Stereo. This will control the Amps Power with the Ignition Start and Accessory Positions.

Sub hook up to PPI D3000 amp

I'm not familiar with this amplifier but in most cases, if a mono amp has more than one positive speaker terminal and more than one negative speaker terminal, the positives are directly connected and the negatives are directly connected. So  as long as you connect the speaker positive to a positive speaker terminal of the amp and the speaker negative to a negative speaker terminal of the amp, it will work properly.

Problem in ppi pcx-2400

Check the amplifiers fuses. Some amps have speaker fuses that leave the LED on if blown. Check for continuity on the voice coils of both subs. Check for 12 volts on the remote turn on line from your receiver. If all of the above are good, the amp is probably toast.
