My Evoluent 4 mouse doesn't work with WIndows 7

win 7 driver has stopped working
uninstal the driver for the mouse , find the web site for the manufacturer of the mouse , get the download for that model and compatibility with win 7 , down load and run
win 7 os is no longer supported by Microsoft so driver bugs and other glitches are not being fixed

Wont recognize mousepad

If it works most of the time but sporadically comes in and out I wonder if the connection between the pad and the motherboard. Depending on the model of the Thinkpad you may be able to pop off the plastic bezel and unseat/reseat the connection and see if it goes away. What model is it?

MOUSE WILL NOT WORK

You haven't said what kind of mouse you have or whether it used to work.
I'll offer some suggestions for the most common problems:
If it used to work but now doesn't, try a system restore back to when it did work.
If that doesn't work--are you using a wireless mouse? If so, are the batteries fresh and are they inserted correctly?
If you are using a wireless mouse, have you pushed the little "connect" button on the bottom?
You haven't said, but is the other mouse a wireless one or a USB mouse? If your USB mouse doesn't work, try another USB port. If you go into the device manager, do you see a "human interface device" or a "mouse" listed? If so, it will tell you the system recognizes the device. If that is missing, there is a good chance the mouse is dead.

I purchased a Belkin wireless travel mouse and have only used it a few times, now it doesn't want to work. The USB lights up when I plug it in to my laptop, but the mouse doesn't. Pls advise if I...

Have you checked your battery on the mouse? I would pressume that it uses battery since its wireless. Does it have a on/off switch? Because for it to work you need to turn it on. Can you post the exact model and specs of your wireless mouse? For us to better understand what were dealing with. Reply back. Good Day.

The in build mouse of my laptop is no funtioning again. how do i go about it

You have to tell us the brand and model of your laptop. Anyway, in new laptops there is a button close to the mouse that can be used to enable/disable the mouse. Find it press it once.
If it doesn't work, go to control panel, locate mouse (under hardware), and change the settings to see whether it is working.
In laptops it is not actually a mouse, but a touch pad.

The pointer is black and will not move

Without knowing the model of the laptop I was guess the laptop has either a button (generally next to the touchpad) or a Function Key (fn) and one of the F# keys will have the picture of a mouse hit the fn + that F# key and that should enable the mouse.
Also if you have a usb mouse, plug that in and if it works that will rule out software issues with programs such as synaptec.

If this doesn't work please comment with the model number

Delete the driver you have now and when you plug back the unit it it will install driver and look for a updated driver you really can just take it out of usb port and put it back in and it will do that
