Showroom feature I'm looking for a commercial television that has a showroom feature. This is the ability to set a default channel; so it turns on to the same channel.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Olevia 232 s12 Accidentally hit factory reset. now no channels in list. how do I get my channels back?

You'll need to reprogram the channels.
Typically this is found under the settings in some sort of auto program section of the menu.
On most newer televisions, the setting is found under a 'Channel' section.
Just select auto program and your source, whether it be an antenna or a cable source.
When the auto program is completed, you'll have your channels back.

I have an old Magnavox that has worked fine until recently. It now shows a type of ''commercial'' telling why to buy it - as if it's in a showroom. It was manufactured in Sept. of 1994, is model #19 PRCI...

Press the "volume up" and "volume down" buttons at the same time and release. This enables and disables that showroom feature.

Pretty stupid idea, if you ask me, especially since it never said anything about the "feature" in any manual.)

I cannot get my Olevia 226 T11 to do an auto search for channels. I've tried to do this per the manual. The auto channel screen just locks up.

Check the Power Up setting to be sure it is starting up in HOME mode rather than SHOWROOM mode. In showroom mode, many settings cannot be changed.

Olevia not searching channels

try the following..

Q. Why are the menu settings that I changed not being saved? A. The TV is in Showroom mode. The following steps will help you switch to Home mode.
  1. Press Menu button from the remote,
  2. Press Down arrow key until you see the word Picture, then press the Right arrow key,
  3. Press Down arrow key until you see Mode, then press the Right arrow key,
  4. Press Down arrow key until you see Power Up, then press the Right arrow key,
  5. Press Down arrow key until you see Home, then press the Enter key,
  6. Press Menu button four times to exit out from the OSD Menu.
***Showroom mode is designed for retailers to display the TV and to protect from shoppers changing the settings that are predetermined for shelf display environment.***.

Q. Why does my TV display "No Signal" or "Channel not in List"? A. Channel search needs to run the very first time of use or after the default settings are loaded from the OSD menu. The following steps will guide you through the process.
  1. Press Source button until Tuner is visible on the upper right corner,
  2. Press Menu button from the remote,
  3. Press Down arrow key until you see Setup, then press the Right arrow key,
  4. Press Down arrow key until you see TV, then press the Right arrow key,
  5. Press Down arrow key until you see Auto Channel Search, then press the Right arrow key,
  6. Press Down arrow key until you see Air (for antenna; select Cable if you have cable service), then press the Right arrow key. The scan process will start.
  7. Wait until the process is complete then you will be able to select the channel you like to watch.

It sounds like either the remote is bad, or this TV may have a "showroom" setting to keep people from messing with th TV while it is on display. I would download the manual to see if it mentions a showroom setting, if not, try a new remote
