I'm having trouble whenever I need to print a duplex inDesign document. The computer sends it to the printer with no problem at all, the printer then shows "PROCESSING JOB" and prints just part of the document. If it's a two-page document, it prints the first page but not the second and it acts as if the job was fully done.
If I then check the print history on the computer, it says Status Completed.
If I try to print only the second page, the computer sends it to the printer, it says "PROCESSING JOB" and nothing happens.
If I remove all the images from the indesign page and start loading them back one by one and printing a copy every time an image is loaded, then it prints (but I have to repeat the procedure every time I print that page).
I don't know what else to do! The printer has 512MB memory and there is nothing wrong with inDesign because this problem happens with any file and it wasn't doing it before.
Could you please help?
Many thanks,
Roberta Walker
I think your problem is that the 5550 supports manual duplex printing. Print every other page then feed them through again. Never tried it though. Dave Reed
