I used to have a Sony MP3 Player in my old car.
My new Car has a normal CD player, and I attached a CDX-FM687 to it, and use it to play my MP3s.
I have no problem playing the MP3 CDs I burnt for the sony, but anything I burn now has a problem. Audio CDs are fine.
In both cased I am using the same computer to burn CDs (For the sony & the pioneer cd changer)

I"LL SUGGEST U FIRST TRY TO FIX THE AUX INPUTS. CONFIRM WHETHER "AUX IN " IS "ON" or "OFF" .PRESS "SRC" SWITCH UNTIL "AUX 1" or "AUX 2" APPEARS ON DISPLAY. SELECT IT "ON".NOW HOPE FULLY THE CD PLAYER SHOULD PLAY.
Easy peasy (for me at least). Disconnect the battery, then... ... reconnect the battery Just done it to mine - all hunky dory. The CD 'rebooted' - equivalent to turning a PC off and on again! Delighted to save the time and expense of visiting a garage!
