    I have a Duet Dryer Model: GGW9200LW0 - I cannot get the control lock to release. What can I try to fix this issue?

    I bought three of these dryers for our vacation rentals and two of the three have faulty doors. You have to push the dryer door shut in a certain way to get it to click shut. I have to actually put my knee against it and push with all my weight. I had both serviced and both still have the problem. I believe it is a defect in their manufacturing process and plan to complain pretty heavily soon.

Well i still cant find it i must be thick

You posted this question for three different Kindle units. Since two of them were for the Fire, I'm assuming that's what you have. If you have something different, please specify.

For the Kindle Fire, press and hold the power button for fifteen seconds or so, ignoring the "Shut down?" prompt, until it turns off. Release the button then press and hold it for a second or two until it starts to reboot.

Hi, my front loader washing machine (Bosch Logixx 8 sensitive) has child lock written on the screen and will not start the load. ive tried switching it on and off again but it does nothing. the door is...

Hello, welcome to FixYa.

The Key symbol means the lock has been activated some how.

On most bosch of your class this is how you work it on & off.

Here`s how to deactivate it...

1) Press the "menu" button until you see "CHILD LOCK :ON" appear in the display. ( if nothing is pressed within 10 sec.following this the menu will close and it will default to program in the display )

2) Once you see what I just mentioned in the display press the "select" button until "CHILD LOCK :OFF" appears in the display.

3) Finally by pressing the "start/pause" button the key symbol should disappear confirming you have successfully exited the child lock program.

Let me know if this was helpful to you or not, if so please take a second and rate it accordingly.

Thank you for visiting "fixya" for your washer solution inquiry.

good luck going forward.

Sometimes when I press the starter button, my car with crank for a little bit, then won't start but the car is still on. I normally press the starter button again to turn off the car, then press it again....

These issues can both be solved through programming. The crank time needs to be extended and the door locks (may) need to be set to double pulse. Can you unlock the doors by pressing the unlock button twice within one second?

Please read all the way through to familiarize yourself with the process before beginning.

Let's try the programming; you will need the vehicle key and the remote. The control/programming switch is located in the antenna on the windshield.

Turn the key on then off; press and hold the control button on the antenna to select the menu. One honk of the horn/flash of the parking lights indicates menu one(1). Now, press and release the button five (5) times (door lock pulses), then press and hold the button. While holding the control button on the antenna, press the lock button on the remote once. You should hear two horn honks/flashes from the parking lights. The system is now set for double pulse unlock. DO NOT RELEASE THE CONTROL BUTTON.

We will now advance to the third menu; release the control button, immediately press and hold the control button. After three seconds the system will begin to advance to the next menu. You will hear two horn honks/flashes from the parking lights. Continue to hold the control button to advance to the third menu. You will hear three horn honks/flashes from the parking lights. Now, press and release the control button three times, then press and hold the control button. While holding the control button, press and release the lock button on the remote. You should hear two horn honks/flashes from the parking lights. Two flashes/horn honks is .8 seconds cranking time. Release control button. Turn ignition on to exit programming/learn routine. Test the system.

If after testing the system , you require a longer cranking time; re-enter the programming/learn routine, menu three, option three and press the lock button on the remote once to advance to one(1) second cranking time.

The programming/learn routine exits if the ignition is turn on, the control button is pressed too many times or there is no activity for 30 seconds.

Installed the prestige remote start(aps687n) on my 95 jeep grand cherokee but when i try to remote start my parking lights just flash 7 times and nothing happens. Any ideas???

Yes, the seven flashes mean that the tachometer setting has not been programmed. If you hooked up a tach wire (green with orange stripe) to an uncommon coil or injector wire, then you have to program tach: turn ignition on, press and release programming switch three (3) times. The parking lights will flash once to confirm. Turn ignition off. Press and hold programming switch. While holding the programming switch, start the vehicle. The parking lights will flash to confirm that the remote starter is getting a tach signal from the vehicle. Continue to hold the switch for approximately 15 seconds.The parking lights will continue to flash while holding the switch. Release the programming switch. The parking lights will come on solid for one second, then go off. The tach is not programmed. Turn ignition off. Test system.

My car wont stay running

Does the engine die as soon as you release the key, or does it run for a couple of seconds after you release the key and then die? If it dies as soon as you release the key, try holding the key for a few seconds and see if it will stay running as long as you are holding the key (the starter will make a grinding sound while holding the key but won't hurt anything). If it stays running while you hold the key then dies when you release it, that indicates that the ignition switch is bad.

Display reads F22, dryer shuts off after 1 minute

To enter the diagnostic mode, choose any selector button other than Pause/Cancel and do this little keyboard dance:
Press and hold for three seconds,
release for three seconds;
press and hold for three seconds,
release for three seconds;
press and hold for three seconds.

You’ll know you’ve entered diagnostic mode because all the indicators on the console will light up for five seconds and you’ll see the code “88” in the Estimated Time Remaining display.

the F22 Code you are getting is the exhaust block or overheat!!! DO NOT USE YOUR DRYER UNTIL YOU CLEAN THE EXHAUST OUT! this is a MAJOR fire hazard

it may also be as simple as a lose wire or something like a bad sensor but chances are that your dryer is doing what its supposed to so that you dont have a fire :)
