One of my tabs broke today after 5 years.  It looks like the tab piece just cleans the wire when the element is removed.  Seems like it does the same thing as the little beads that slide along the wire when you turn it upside down.  So I'm going to just use it without the tabs.

Apparently a number of us need the same replacement part. In the meantime I emailed customer service at Sharper Image...it's been several weeks, no response from them.

For what it is worth - All the little tabs do is wipe the wires to clean them - The unit will work fine without the tabs - You may have to carefully clean the wires with a soft cloth - "Carefully" - Bob

While cleaning the collection grid, the spring loaded part at the bottom of the grid came off. I need one of the two parts. Where may I get a replacement part?
