Your question is very vague. I would read the manual or at least the quick start guide to help you through this one. Install the software first, then when it prompts you to connect it via the USB cable, do so.

You can download the driver from the Canon official website, (click here) , open the link, select the O.S. (Operating System installed on the computer where you are gonna install the printer) and the language (english is recommended) and click "submit", all the available drivers for the selected o.s. and language will be displayed as links so that you can download. Click the respective links to download the drivers.

If you need further help, let me know.

Good luck.

#334 is an eprom error and if turning on and off does not reset it, you have something going on with the main logic board.

Above is a service and repair manual this will assist you to troubleshoot and hopefully repair, although I fear with this type of fault, it needs to be returned to the factory.

How to connect to the mac computer

All computers need drivers for each device to work correctly with a computer. This DELL printer has a specific model printer drivers that work with PCs and laptops for Windows XP or Vista or Windows 7, but I do not think if there is a printer driver for the MAC.
You need to contact DELL or their WEB site for this problem.
