Question about Canon imageRUNNER 1023N Black and White Copier

How do I solve a system error E000

When I turned on the copier, sometimes the red error light came on and then the error message " system error E000 appeared on the LCD screen. We tried to turn off the main power switch for 10 seconds and then put it on - sometimes it started working immediately and sometimes it did not. There had been times when we had to repeatedly turning it off and on before it will work.

You have to get into service mode and reset it under Funcation. You may have a power problem with your outlet. It could also be a problem with the fixing unit..

System error "E000"

Reset the device when it does not respond. If the device does not respond, disconnect and then reconnect the power cord. At the device or at the electrical outlet, disconnect the power cord or adapter. Wait approximately ten seconds and then reconnect the power cord. Wait until the device has completed its cycling process before submitting another job request. If this doesn't work try reseting If all else fails I would suggest taking it to a qualified service center. Hope this helps:) Jason
