Use a sd memory card reader-no software-plug and play-make sure you don't have 2 folders in camera storing pics in different places-check in menus for folder numbers

go into menu-not function and go to 2nd or third menu over on the top and scroll up or down to find a folder menu-please try memory card reader so you can get them into my pictures and you can really see whats going on with your storage issues

Format the memory card. Make sure your format the card each time you finish uploading your pictures to your computer, instead of simply deleting pictures.
If you can't format the card, try another card.

Here is what I wrote today to another user having a very similar problem:

You can access your photos without Easyshare through Start / My Computer and your card and maybe the camera memory card should appear there as E: or D: or such volume. Click on those icons and on folders inside until you see the photos as thumbnail. Save the enclosing folder by right-click Copy/Paste to a place of your choice.

And/Or

Take out the card and put it in an SD card reader and connect that to the computer and follow the above instructions. Use free Picasa software instead of Easy Share.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS5 cant upload photos!!

Did your friend use the "safely remove hardware" function when removing your card from her computer? That could corrupt your card if she didn't. Try this...take your card to a store like Walmart that has a Kodak picture kiosk. They can usually read everything on a card. There, you can print the pics or even make a cd of them. Afterwards, format your card in your camera.

How do you upload pictures on the internal memory?

If you normally upload your pictures by connecting via the USB port, remove the memory stick before connecting the camera to the computer. If you normally upload your pictures by putting the memory stick into a card reader, use the camera's memory stick tool to copy the pictures from internal memory to memory stick.

Need to put Pictures from Camera onto Memory Card

Hi there. Here is how you do it. Go into the menu and navigate to the Copy screen. Choose an option. One is to copy pictures from the camera's internal memory to the SD card, and the other is copy from the SD card to the camera's internal memory. Then press OK. On the next screen, you have two option choices, either copy all images, or selected images. Hope that helps.

Problem Uploading pictures

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

Uploading pictures on PC

This one is easy. Buy a memory card reader and do not use the camera usb cord. A card reader will always be the easiest way to transfer photos from memory stick to PC.

How do U upload photosfrom my computer to my sony cyber shot DSC-S500

I'm not sure that you can upload photos from the computer to the camera. i have never seen a camera you could do that with. The only way you might be able to do it is if you are using a sony memory card in your camera and you took the memory card out of the camera and put it in a memory card reader connected to your computer. Put the photos from your computer on to your memory card and then put the memory card back in the camera.
