Mp3 players are sensitive - try a different set of headphones first. Depending on the kind of mp3 player you have, this issue may not be fixable - you will just have to find the right spot and hold very still.

Maybe your cable has a broken wire in it. This happened to me and I had to bend the cable back and forth. When it connected so I knew it was the cable, I just got a new one.

check your wires that they arent to bend, they can break if they gets to bended, try with a different pair og earplugs, if that doesnt help the jack connecter is broken in the device

Samsung YP-U3 mp3 - Can't get my songs to play in certain order

I've never seen a MP3 player that you can select the order in which multiple songs are played, unless you do it manually or only have the song you want to play on it.
I think your efforts will be in vane.  Sorry

Headphones plug not working right. can hear only from one, even if connectec to speakers

That is a common problem with Mp3 players - unfortunately, no one that I know of yet has been successful in repairing this issue, b/c the manufacturers do not sell the component parts. I'm afraid this Mp3 player will have to be replaced, even though only the headphone jack and associated circuit are bad.

This is true of almost all mp3 players, unless the problem is more extreme than your letting on. If it is very extreme, then the headphone jack itself is faulty. This is a hardware issue - there is no repair service for it. Must be replaced. Call manufacturer or store.
