I had this problem, and it turns out that there was still paper hidden in the machine, even though it was not obvious. Even if you pull out paper from the top and check the tray, also do open the back and then open the flaps inside. There can be a very crumpled and very well hidden piece of paper there!

I have 2 of these printers with the Red or amber light on top and the network port light are flashing in unison. Printer does not work via network or USB

The red light is flashing. I can see a sheet of paper that seems to be stuck in the back which I cannot pull out. What can I do?
