Go to your start menu and find the option that says run and type in msconfig.
It will bring up a list of startup services that start with every boot. they usually slow your startup times way down. A lot of times, there will be programs and drivers loading for devices you may or may not have. If you've ever plugged in a external hard drive, or any device for that matter, it will load the drivers every time you start your computer.
also, programs that you don't need start up too. like AOL or things that start in your system tray. You know, yahoo messenger, AIM, Quicktime and pretty much everything in between.

I don't know if that's what you were looking for or not. I don't fully understand it. I know that I stopped thing I knew I didn't need and it changed my boot time from 5 to 6 minutes down to around a minute.

just google msconfig.

you might find a better explanation by someone smart. =)

Why does my Nikon D70's pictures turn out black if over shutter speed is faster than 1/60 of a second

Probably need to send it in.
Do you have a flash attached? If so, remove it.
Also, you might try resetting the entire camera,, in the menu settings.
Finally, remove the battery for a minute, recharge and replace.
See if any of that helps...
Good Luck!

Town and counrty front right signal light flashing faster, rear light stop flashing

the signal indicator lights are suppose to flash in perticular time interval which is connected to a timer relay when the light flashes faster that means the other light is not working and the relay is getting double the current and moving faster so check the other light either the bulb is fuse or the current is not reaching up to the bulb

When failed trun signal bulb, Jeep turning signal is fastly blinking. I changed rear turn signal bulb with LED bulb, but turn signal blinking speed doesn't go to normal, At first couple of seconds it is...

Try replacing with the same bulb type as was failed. Flasher unit isusually reliant on resistence from the bulbs to what speed that side will flash at when powered. Some of these led type have less resistence and that equates to a faster flash speed. That is why when one bulb blows that side will flash faster or may even stay on without flashing. You could even swap the led to the other side( to confirm.Check with the bulb retailer to whether they have those bulbs with a higher rated resistence in led.If this vehicle has leds as standard, you may need to get the correct type from dealer. Hope this helps or get back with findings if it still has fault after replacing bulb.

I am hearing a clicking noise from the front end, driver side, of my 03 Wrangler. The faster I drive, the faster the click. It also squeaks a little when I first start driving, then the squeak stops. Click...

Get the cv joint checked. It sounds like that is the problem.I would also look at the brakes. If the sound is worst when you turn right,it may be the cv.This is on a left hand drive vehicle.I hope this helps

Can i use a power line for my 360. how?

Powerline is far too expensive, and if someone turns on a blender or some other device with an A/C motor your internet goes down. And you would need at least two of the devices, one for your router, one for your XBox. Speed wise, power line can be faster than the traditional wireless G standard, but wireless G is plenty faster than your internet connection allready.

Wifi is good and it's cheap for the most part, the 360 wireless adapter would cost about the same as a powerline adapter, and chances are your setup is already wifi compatable. Wifi can have problems, turn on microwave and it can kill the connection. If you don't mind having a cord running, that would possibly be the cheapest, plus cat-5 is pretty much immune to interference.

But I would suggest either wifi/cat-5. Powerline is far too overpriced and problematic.
