Question about Jensen JPA285 Car Audio Amplifier
My Amp was fading in and out it would shut off and then start to turn back on. When i took the panel off of it there was a copasitor that was loose. So i fired up my soldering iron up and fixed it when i hooked it back up in my car i was starting to put my fuseblock in and it started to shoot sparks from the inside wat would that be and how can i fix it
Have you checked your Ground wire connection? It may be grounding in and out. I have had a similar problem and it ended up being the ground wire, I have the same amp, use it on nearly full level/bass works great 0 problems

It's normal to see sparks when reinstalling the fuse. But they should only be produced inside the fuse holder when the fuse makes contact with the terminals of the fuse holder.
Did you reinstall the capacitor with the correct polarity? If you installed it backwards, it may have blown out or could be causing other problems.
Did you possibly bridge the connections in the amp when you soldered the camp in?
It's possible that something failed and caused the cap to melt out of the board. The failed component may have caused the fireworks inside the amp.
