MP3 PLAYER Bought an MP3 player back on 6/18/07 and is not working anymore. Do I need to return to store or mail so it can be changed or repair?

If you currently have a product that is defective, you should always have a number of options available.

In most cases, the manufacturer of the product is generally able to provide technical support and additional repair/replacement services by mail while the manufacturer's warranty is still in effect. After the warranty has expired these same services may still be available, but for a fee.

However, if you would prefer a more local option, you may always bring the MP3 player with you into your local Best Buy™ store for service and repairs. Geek Squad® agents are able to address repair issues for most products carried by Best Buy™ stores, and are even able to perform services under most manufacturer warranties. Please keep in mind that while many products will carry a one-year warranty, this cannot be guaranteed for every single item.

Additionally, if there is no Best Buy™ store in your area, you may always seek assistance through a manufacturer-authorized third-party repair facility. Most companies will provide listings in your local White or Yellow Pages, and may even have information available through the MP3 player manufacturer's website.

To get Itunes bought songs to play on your mp3 player are in ACC.You may need to change it into whatever format your player calls for. they may have to be converted to a different format before they will work in your Mp3 player. Check your user manual for this information.

It is best that you exercise patience and wait till tomorrow and return it to the store from which you bought it because tampering with it may void your warranty.

How to get ear buds for SanDisk Sansa Express 1GB* MP3 Player..


You'll probably need to buy them from an online store. The Sansa Express is a discontinued player, so SanDisk doesn't make accessories for it anymore, but if you go to Google and do a search for "Sansa Express" and earbuds, you'll see stores that still carry them.

I recommend, though, that you just go to your local electronics store and buy a pair of earbuds. Not only will it probably be cheaper because you don't have to pay for shipping, but you can return them if they don't work out for you.

Nano 16gb wont start when unplugged from the desktop. tried to reset it the usual way with the menu and centre buttons but no joy. Any ideas????


first do a a factory restore on the player with the itunes plug it back in and then let it load once the screen come up with ur player go to restore it will delete and fix the software back to it oringnal state and re download the songs for u please try that if tht dosent work ur ipod battery might not be holding a charge and ull have to return it or the ipods hold switch might have broken keeping it in a lock for good either of those may need to be given a repair at apple or return to store u bought it from.

Reset the player, then update the firmware from Philips website. If that fails:
Recovery Mode for Philips' GoGear
Open the Philips Device Manager (Start à All Programs à Philips Digital Audio Player à SAXXX à Philips Device Manager) and click on the “Repair” tab. Then click on the “Repair” button to start the repair process. Most of the time, when your player is in that state, the Device Manager will not recognize that your GoGear is plugged in. If this is the case: Disconnect the player from the PC, and make sure the mp3 player is turned off. Hold in the volume + button on the mp3 player, and reconnect the player to your pc while holding in the volume + button. Continue holding the volume + for 10-15 seconds until a "Found New Hardware Wizard" pops up. It should recover your device if there isn't anything internally wrong with the player. Warning: this procedure will result in your songs being erased off the player, so they will have to be reloaded.
