Question about Dell Latitude D820 Notebook
I need to know how to formatt my laptop. In other word i locked it and forgot the password and need to erase everything of.
There is no need to do that. Try this first:
Boot into safe mode (press F8 key several times just before Windows boots up).
Select SAFE MODE
Wait for it to boot, and if there is an Administrator account, choose it. More times than not, there is no password on this account. From there you will be able to change YOUR account password via User Accounts under CONTROL PANEL.
Please let me know if this works. If so, great. If not, there are other ways to do what you need instead of reformatting.

Power off the tablet
Tap Power, then press
and hold Power + Vol Down until you get a menu, then release
