D-Link AirPlus Xtreme G DI-624 router access

i come across people who had the same problem. Typing 'user' instead of 'admin' worked (it accessed my router) but i can't change any settings because i didn't log in as 'admin', so i think it might be a problem with the password. i have reset my router twice with no luck, turned off my AVG Internet Security 8 with no luck. I have never run a set up disc because the only disc to come with the router was a driver for the usb adapter i use. Grrrrrr!
