Question about Sony XM-1252GTR Car Audio Amplifier
Ive go the amp runing bridged to a alpine type r at 4ohms. Worked fine for a week or two. But now the amp powers on and then the blue light dims and no sound comes out???
Check your remote wire... usually your remote wire isnt connected properly; or your fuse from the battery to the amp is blown

Either the speaker is shorted out (blown), or the output transistors in the amplifier are bad. Try hooking up another speaker to the amp. If it plays, the amp is good. If not, then the amp is bad.

Tips for a great answer:

This will allow 2 channels to run 100 watts each @ 4ohms with an additional single channel with 250 watts @ 4 ohms.
The single sub channel is created by bridging channels 3 & 4
