Mintek MDP-1030 Portable DVD Player Logo
Posted on Sep 25, 2010

Last time I used this DVD player a few weeks ago it worked fine. I left it plugged in to keep the battery charged for several weeks. Today there is no power and it won't turn on. I have unplugged and replugged it, removed the battery and put it back in. Still there is no sign of life. What should I do now?

I had the same problem, all you have to do is take the bulk of the charger and give it a whak with your hand, the same for the console.

Do you still have the old battery. If so charge it, and see if it charges properly. If so then you have a bad battery.

CREATIVE ZEN GONE HAYWIRE

sounds like it might be either a bad firmware driver, which can be erased and reinstalled via the USB connection to your computer and a download from creative. Or the battery has gone bad, in which case you have to have it sent to creative for Repair.
