Do you have downloadable program software for this product? I am having trouble with this unit locking on to any sattelite so thought perhaps a new program reload might help/????? Help product about 5 year old need map updates also

Unless you know what you are dfoing, it will be more trouble than it is worth friend.
Your best bet is to purchase a new disc with Windows 7 64 bit and do a 'new install'. It will ask you to wipe the existing partitions and you can start anew using the full capacity of the Hard Drive.. Don't panic If you don't have a Product Key, you can download Win 7 installation discs all over the net; Win 7 WILL install and work fully, but will only give you 30 days to buy a Product key. before it locks you out.

Marie, For every camera that someone wants to connect to a computer, there has to be installed a program on the computer. The program came with the camera on the CD. Perhaps you thought only the manual was on the CD, but no.
If you already dumped the CD, just goto the Kodak website, register your camera and ask for the easy share software. you can download it for free. Because it will only work with a Kodak camera.
Always first install the software, then connect the camera.
Once the software is on the computer, the program is self explaining. It even starts up (should start up) as soon as the camera is connected via the USB cable.
Connect your satnav to your computer with the mini usb lead
Run the webupdater program. It will find updates. Select them all and download them. When they are installed you'll get the option of downloading optional updates. It's not necessary to download these unless you wish to.
Perhaps you are having difficulties with "Open Programs"

IT IS an easy fix...uninstall the Picture Viewer that you got from the Disc they gave...Throw it away. Go to www.mscustomercare.com at the top of the keychain section, it says "download".............. THIS version works.
