Generic problem for all Lexmark Printers

I cannot get the printer

I cannot get the printer to print. I have a Lexmark2500-new! It tells me I am missing fm3032d.dll. Does Microsoft office onenote have anthing to do with this. I never had ONENOTE and now it is on my Windows Vista.

Removing the printer software and reinstalling it using a clean boot may resolve the symptoms you are experiencing. The following instructions will walk you through this process.
  1. Remove the printer software.
a. Unplug the printer from the computer. Later you will be prompted by the software to plug in the printer; do so at that time only.
b. Open the Windows Control Panel.
c. Open the Add / Remove Programs window.
d. Locate the listing for the printer software and remove it. When prompted to remove the printer drivers files, click Yes.
e. Locate any other printer software and remove it as well.
To Boot Clean in Windows Vista
Accessing the System Configuration Utility
1. Click Start and select Control Panel
2. Click System and Mantience
3. Click Administrative Tools
4. Double Click System Configuration

Configure Selective Startup options
1. On the General tab, choose Selective Startup
2. Uncheck Load Startup Items
3. Select the Services tab
4. Check Hide all Microsoft services
5. Click Disable all
6. Click on OK
7. Click Restart.

Install the downloaded printer driver/software. After performing the necessary steps, restore your system by doing the following:
1. Click Start and select Control Panel
2. Click System and Mantience
3. Click Administrative Tools
4. Double click System Configuration
5. On the General tab, choose Normal Startup
6. Click Ok
7. Click Yes, when asked to restart your computer.
