I'm looking for one skillet power control for Rena Ware fry electric pan Cat. 17530

Rena Ware Electric Skillets use the same control as West Bend WB-1 . The back of the Rena Ware Control does say WB-1. Mine is 1500 watt.
You can find the WB-1 eBay for various prices. A generic heat control will probably work as well if it is the same wattage. I have a Saladmaster control that also works for this skillet.1_26_2012_12_42_14_am.jpg

The outer covering on the electrical cord is thinning...repairs??

Does your cord disconnect from the skillet?

It was made by REGAL. If you need a replacement cord with heat control they are about $20.00. If you need a cord without a heat control they are $17.00. (That is locally) Plus shipping if you buy it online.

    Temperature control unit .

Well, you haven't said what kind of skillet it it, but I would think that in most cases you should be able to get spare parts for it.

This is quite a comprehensive list of small appliance part suppliers. I recommend you go to this site, once it opens in your web browser, press "Ctrl f" which will open a little word search window. Type in "name of company" in the space and click "next". Each time you press next "name of company" will be highlighted in the next parts company that sells that companies parts. You should then be able to find the web-site for that parts company by scrolling down a bit further.

    http://www.jneuhaus.com/appliance/index.htm

Or you could do what I would do. Find a way to either score the lines into the plastic of the old controller or design and print a replacement paper on the computor. And of course there is always glue!

If you found this useful, please vote. Thanks.
