Question about Samsung SGH-E370 Cellular Phone

HELP PLEASE i reset my default factory settings on my samsung sgh e 370, when i did it asked me for the password which i enterd. like before when i try access my images it asks me for my security code except the old code is not accepted... please help

By resetting to factory settings, the security password is also reset.
Try this code: 00000000 (that's 8 zero's)

Pull Battery, reinsert battery and then hold at the same time the power button and volume down rocker until it boots to an android recovery screen (with a droid and a white triangle with an orange exclamation mark in it) Then press the left curved arrow key at bottom of phone. The text menu will come on the screen. Then use volume keys to select and home button to select/enter. Select reset to factory defaults, scroll to YES, press home key then select reboot phone, and enter using home key. The phone will be back to factory defaults and clear the error condition and still be activated. You will need to re-setup your Goggle account, settings and apps.

My Samsung Impression A877 is lock out...... I forgot my password....... And I want to reset it...... from the phone lock screen....? Can anyone help me please!!!!


  1. Pull out the battery, and then reinstall it. Power on the phone and you should be able to access your information.

The following procedure will allow you to perform a factory reset, which would require access to the Standby Screen, and Menu. If you are just trying to access your phone, reset the battery.

To reset the handset to the factory default settings, follow the steps below:
  1. From the standby screen, press Menu
  2. Press Settings
  3. Press Reset Settings
  4. Press on any of the following to check their boxes:
    • All: Sound Profiles, Display & Light, Phone and Alarm settings will be returned to default values
    • Sound Profiles: Only sound profile settings will be returned to default values
    • Display and Light: Only display settings will be returned to default values
    • Phone: Only phone settings will be returned to default values
    • Alarms: Only alarm settings will be returned to default values
  5. Press Reset
  6. Enter the password default password is "0000", then press OK
  7. If prompted, Enter the password again to confirm then press OK
  8. Press Yes to Reset the handset's settings to the factory defaults

*2767*3855# is the master reset code and "if" it asks for password type *#9072641*# ..

if it works or not works mail me at ssgodfather@gmail.com..

Change Phone Password from page 150 in your manual:
The Change phone password feature allows you to change your current phone password to a new one. You must enter the current password before you can specify a new one. Once you enter a new password, you are asked to confirm it by entering it again.

Forgot password


This will reset the phone's settings to factory default. Use this at your own risk:

1. Switch off phone.
2. Remove the sim card.
3. Turn on the phone.
4. Type *2767*2878#
5. Use 00000000 when it ask you again for the phone lock code.

Security Code' refers to a code aimed at preventing others from using the handsets should it be lost or stolen. The initial security code default is '0000'.

I bought a Samsung A737 and it asks for the sim password . Can You help me?


My friend and I just did this and it worked. It resets your phone back to factory default settings.

1. Remove SIM card and power up phone.
2. Using the keypad, enter *2767*3855#.
3. Wait 10-15 seconds.
4. Phone will reboot and the settings will be factory settings again
