you either have leaky capacitors near the voltage regulators, cooling fluid leaking on the boards, and/or bad solder connections on the yoke plugs. this model is known for all 3 problems, but you probably need a qualified tv repairman to fix this right.

This model is known for the front control panel going bad. You could unplug it, control panel cable, from the front of TV, by removing the speaker grill, and just use the remote.
Push the menu and inputs buttons on the set in both together and hold for 8 seconds this should make the led flash a two digit code. Let me know what happens after doing this test.
