Try downloading the latest ChipSet for your intel board, second go into the BIOS and set your clock... easier than that, double click on the clock at the bottom right of your screen and set it to the correct time and correct time zone, click Apply and then OK that will get rid of the checksum error. You're doing fine, don't give up on the new drivers. You are almost there.... Hope this does it for you my friend, good luck, please leave rating, thankyou kindly
Operating system doesn't have an effect on the bios update process. Simply you can go online and search for your motherboard's website for BIOS flash utility, and new bios files. And through that website, you can follow the instructed steps and update your BIOS. (For example: Asus Mainboard Model P5GD1 Pro -> Go to Asus international website and select your mainboard model, you can find the tools and updates related with your particular model there). You just have to look up for your mainboard's complete brand and model name first.
Just follow the link below http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us In product select motherboard In series select socket478 In model select your model P4BGL-MX click on search then select your oerating system and then download the BIOS and run the file to update the BIOS
