Re: My Canon ir c2100 has a paper jam issue.
Have you tried to run copies from both paper trays? Will it jam in the same spot with both trays? If one works, but the other jams, it may be as simple as making sure the paper tray is set to the correct paper size? Is it set up in the paper tray as LTR, but the tray is saying LTR-R on the display. If so just change the paper size knob to the correct size. Also, if it stops in the same spot with all of the trays, look for something blocking it. Also, try to cheat the side door and make sure everthing is turning correctly.. Good Luck...

If you are printing a document with a lot of color on it then likely the page is sticking to the fuser. Print a supplies status page and check the fuser life. If it is around 70 percent, get on the phone and scream at HP until they replace your fuser. They have had issues with the fusers on these printers and some serial numbers of fuser they will replace.
there is an error in the rotation of the fixing film.
check the fixing film sensor and make sure that all the wiring and the connectors are connected securely.
if it persists, consider replacing the fuser fixing film
This seems to be a common problem for the Canon ir 20 xx series machines. The problem is having machine indicating paper jams on the left hand side of the machine. When you open the left cover you do sometimes find paper stuck on entering the fuser unit. The main problem, and loads of these machines with these problems have been fixed, are the half moon pickup rollers! Clean the pickup rollers or even better, replace them and you will get the machine working 100%!! To confirm this try copying from the machine using the manual feed tray. You will never get a paper jam. This fault is due to incorrect pickup resulting in timing problem and thus getting paper jams! Good luck!
Analyse where paper jamming is happening? remove right left back & top covers..press door switch, shoot print command. Remove cartridge after paper jam, check upto where paper travel? 1. If paper jams with curl foldings in cartridge bank area..before entering the fuser assmbly.. # Teflon sleeve not rotation properly due to this paper not passing through it result curl foldings..Replace teflon sleeve.. 2. If paper passed fuser assmebly little bit(near about 2-3 inches. #Problem with paper out sensor/flag. clean sensor, check sensor flag movement & spring. 3. Check registration paper sensor located back side. # while passing the paper, sensor flag has to act & once paper out it has to reach home, other wise paper jam error will appear.. check flag spring.
Canon fuser technology is hp laser printer system. This copier has a fuser film or eleventh cover. Some times its torn or short then this machine say E007.Its an error code. When occurred this E007 you should defective film.
As i can understand whenever you try to print with rear door closed printed page should come on top from top output roller however paper gets jammed.
Try to print a page using rear door open and it should come out from the rear drop down tray it printed page comes out successfully with rear flap open than paper gets jammed at top due to faulty top output roller.
However if the paper gets jammed at fuser with rear door closed than it is issue with fuser in that case you need to get fuser replaced at the same time replace 20 tooth gear next to fuser.
The high pitched whine and the paper stopping just before the fuser (the hot) unit is a known issue on the C3000 and C4100. If you are still searching for the solution to this issue, let me know, as I now have a working fix for the problem.
There are 3 little black and white rollers under the cover on the back of the printer. They are pushed under the upper rollers. They should be on the outside of the upper rollers. Somehow they got wedged under the upper rollers. This should fix the accordian paper jam.
