Assuming you can get past that error message:

  • go to the Options menu, then Global Options
  • Click on the + to the left of Options to open the item
  • Click on Default Session
  • Uncheck the box "Use auto session
  • Click on OK
If you can't get past that message, uninstall SecureCRT and re-install it - it sounds as though some of it's configuration data has got corrupted. If you are comfortable doing this, use Windows Explorer, make hidden files & folders visible and then go to
C:\Documents and settings\your-user-name.

For all the following, ensure SecureCT is not running - even in the System Tray.

Look for the SecuerCRT folder in Application Data and Local Settings\Application Data (I can't remember which one it's in offhand). In that folder, there's a folder called Config. Assuming that you don't have a load of connections set up that you don't want to lose, delete the whole folder. SecureCRT will ask you where to re-create it next time it starts.
It's also possible to delete do it this way:
  • in the Config folder, edit global.ini with notepad.
  • Find the line that starts "S:"Auto Session Name"="
  • Delete the whole line
  • Save and close the file
  • Restart SecureCRT

Why the chating in my facebook not functioning and always say no avaiable to chating even my friends is online?

If your internet connection goes through a proxy server that is blocking IRC chats and similar protocols such as these implemented by facebook, you may be out of luck. Try using a website to bypass the proxy, if any.I recommend that you use: Secondly, ensure that active scripting is enabled on Internet Explorer. To do this, go to control panel, internet options and in the internet options window, click the security tab and click "Reset to default". This will reset the internet explorer security settings to default and will correct any configuration issues you may be having.
I hope my solutions solve your problem.Have a good day.

Google chrome gives me this error:
Error 102 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED): Unknown error.

Firefox gives me this error:
Failed to connect. The connection was refused when attempting to contact

IE gives me this error:

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

This problem can be caused by a variety of issues, including:

Internet connectivity has been lost.
The website is temporarily unavailable.
The Domain Name Server (DNS) is not reachable.
The Domain Name Server (DNS) does not have a listing for the website's domain.
There might be a typing error in the address.
If this is an HTTPS (secure) address, click Tools, click Internet Options, click Advanced, and check to be sure the SSL and TLS protocols are enabled under the security section.

Need to configure for wirless setupnew dsl line from one isp to another need to set up router for wireless connection

If you are setting up a new router for DSL connection, i presume that you already know the login credentials to access your router's admin interface. By default, depending on your router's model, you can access and configure it at or using a web browser and make sure that computer you are using is connected to the router through an ethernet cable.

Default login credentials:
user name: admin
password: admin (or try also leaving it blank)

When you are at the web interface, go to a link known as SETUP and there you can setup your connection. If your DSL provides you a user name and password, then you can also enter them there. Then save your settings.

To allow internet broadcasting using wifi, go to a link known as "WIRELESS" and setup encryption there using WAP, WPA2, or WEP or any other recommended encryption protocol. Through this, you can prevent other users near your place to use your internet connection without informing you.

Cannot open links in outlook express does not open IE if i click on any links in emails

First go to "programs and features" uninstall Google Chrome.

Go to "Set Default Programs" (Control Panel>Default Programs>Set Default Programs)

Select Internet Explorer and click Set this program as default

Select Microsoft Office Outlook and click Set this program as default

Run Registry Editor (regedit.exe) and browse to location: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Ext and change the value data of all DWORD entries from 1 to 0.

Launch Internet Explorer first; launch your Mail client (hopefully Microsoft Officer Outlook).

Check if all is well and you are now able to open links from within your Mail client.
