Followed instruction to check mechanical linkage and spring was on. Then set machine to diagnosis mode and it seems to start, let some water in but then the armature started moving through the different cycle but nothing else happened. It just kept cycling through the options over and over until it went back to the f13 error

Dispenser Circuit Error
If the dispenser motor is not able to be driven to it’s proper position.
Potential Causes
• Check mechanical linkage from dispenser motor to the top of the dispenser.
• Check Wire Harness connections to the dispenser motor and Central Control
Unit (CCU)
• Check Dispenser Motor
if you take the top off the washer you will find a tech sheet in there taped to the side of the washer that will tell you how to trouble shoot the dispenser

"F13" is a "Dispenser Circuit Error". If the dispenser motor cannot move to its correct position, the error code is generated. You will need to check the following:

- Check the mechanical linkage from the dispenser motor to the top of the dispenser. NOTE: 9 times out of 10 the small spring that connects the motor to the armature comes off and needs to be reconnected.
- Check the electrical connections from the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the dispenser motor. NOTE: The CCU is the Main Computer located directly behind the wash tub.
- Check to make sure the dispenser motor is running.

In order to see all of this you will need to remove the top panel of the washer. Remove the three screws holding the top panel in place in the rear. Once the screws are removed, the panel slides back then off. Locate the dispenser. Make sure there is a small spring attached from the dispenser motor to a small plastic armature on top of the dispenser. Without it the dispenser will not function. Place the washer in diagnostics mode by performing the following:

Select DRAIN/SPIN, NO SPIN and press any key under OPTIONS (must be the same key) 4 times. "C00" will be displayed on the console as the washer enters a series of diagnostics tests. The first portion of diagnostics tests the operation of the dispenser. You should see the armature moving as the different compartments of the dispenser are being tested. If not, I would suspect a possible dispenser motor failure. As a long shot, the CCU can also fail, but may cause different symptoms and multiple error codes. Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to exit diagnostics.

I hope this information is helpful to you. Please post back if you need further assistance.

CORRECTION: I don't believe your dispenser has a spring. You may only have a plastic actuator cam. With the washer top removed, follow the same procedures I posted previously by placing the washer in diagnostics mode. Watch the cam to see if the dispenser moves. If it doesn't, double check the electrical connections. Following the connector leads from the motor to the CCU, you unplug the connector and perform a resistance check.

The readings across test points 6 & 5 (the left pair of wires) should read 0 ohms - Dispenser Switch.

The readings across test points 1 & 3 (the right pair of wires) should read 1400 ohms - Dispenser Motor.

Hi just read your posting.Try this on your machine.Power up the machine then advance the cycle to spin. Now push the start button.Does the noise start as soon as you push the start button or when the machine turns the bowl for the spin?Is the noise a rumbling noise or high pitched squeal? If the noise starts as soon as you push the start button the fault is your pump.If the noise starts when the machine spins the bowl then the problem is with the bearings and seals. Please reply with additional information and I am sure I can help you.Looking forward to your reply.

Washer went haywire

Obviously, the control panel is indicating some type of error condition.

First thing to do is unplug the unit from the 120VAC power for about 10 minutes and plug it back in. See if this fixes the problem.

2nd thing I'd check is the ribbon or molex connectors on the back of the control panel. Re-seat them.

Flashes 13?

IE = Inlet Error. if the water level has not been reached in a certain amount of time, you will get an IE code. Most likely cause is clogged inlet water screen, inside the threaded end where the hose attaches to the machine. Other possiblities are valve shut off, kinked hose, open water inlet valve solenoid coil.

Bosch classixx 1000 washing machine - stops on spin

Washing machine stops at the spin cycle - light flashes. Have to drain water out manually. Happened last week and was then able to run an empty rinse cycle. Machine worked normally for another week. Same problem today but have had to drain water manually from the drum after trying an empty 90 wash and rinse cycle (both stopped on the Spin and flashed). Any ideas? Thanks. x
