Powering up

posted by Video2 on May 22, 2008

I have an ASUS P5K3 Deluxe WiFI-AP motherboard, it is installed inside an Antec Titan 650 Server case. All parts are brand new. I cannot get the system to power up. I have a question about the motherboard power connection. Part of the connection plug on the motherboard (4) is covered by a black plastic cover. I don't know where to plug in the 8 pin connector.
Please help!

You need to remove the cap from 8-pin EATX12V connector and connect 8-pin EPC +12V power plug from your P/S, otherwise it will not work. Your power supply should support 8-pin EATX12V. If you P/S comes with 4-pin connector only you just use your 4-pin open spot and leave the cap on.
