Question about Samsung RS2630SH Side by Side Refrigerator
I had the same problem with my 2630. Unplugged the power cord and pulled the small panel off on the rear of the unit. The fan was working. I noticed a lot of dust built up on the condensor- the cooling fins were full of it. I took my small shop vac and cleaned off all that I could on the the surface of the condensor. Thought I'd try blowing it out in case I missed any in the inner part of the condensor. Reversed the hose on the shop vac so it would blow air and turned it on. Dust blew everywhere! Just vacuuming it out wasn't enough. No more problems with the heat- that seems to have cleaned it out so that the fan can now pull air across the condensor to properly cool it down. Hope this helps.

The fridge comes with condenser concealed inside body which removes heat from fridge & transfer to atmosphere hence it is found warmer than atm. temp.which is normal.the condenser is pipe in very long length to improve better heat transfer.this design also helps to remove sweating on body occured by cold air in fridge comp.u will find the hot effect is not everywhere on body because it is hot wherever the condenser pipe is there

If the unit was off for a while then more heat is inside the freezer after having it off for a while. That heat gets moved out to your condenser coil. Most freezers today don't have fans to force that heat to the outside air, they run that heat through the outer cabinet and it naturally travels to the cooler surrounding air. If there is no rear cover and no fan motor near that compressor this is how yours is designed. Just give it sometime and it should be fine. However it should be warm to the touch but not so hot you can't. And also depending on how long the freezer is running and how warm it is where the freezer is will affect how hot the outside is. The reason the outside of the freezer is hot is because that's how the freezer releases its heat from the refrigerant. The longer it runs or the harder it has to work the more heat it has to hive off. So unless the freezer is not cooling there is nothing to worry about.
