Don't know if you solved this alread, but take a look at the 'exit flag' located just where the paper is spit out of the printer. If the exit flag is in the "up" position, just bring it down and that should solve the problem. If the exit flag is in the up position, this makes the printer think that the bin is full. Hope this helps. Either that or http://support.lexmark.com
I had the same problem and it was driving me nuts. Turns out it was nothing more than the little flap that hangs down at the left hand corner of the output tray. It was stuck in the up position. After resetting it I had to cycle the power and everything is copacetic. Hope that helps
It appears that this means that the printer thinks the output tray (on top of the printer) is full. If it is not, then the signal arm may be out of place. Here is a relevant article.... http://support.lexmark.com/perl/support/support.cgi
