Hi i have a dell inspiron 9300 mobo y4694 service tag #2K3HC91-595B. i was obliged to change its ram but now it ask me for bios password something it never ask me before so i don`t know the password. so i need to reset this path, i need your help to make it. my computer is my liberty, pls help me if you can.

As far as I know once the you forgot your BIOS password no more options to get it anymore. You may also wanted to talk to Dell Tech Support 1-877-542-3355 in order for them to check if they can still do something about it. Worse scenario would be replacing your MOBO.

If it is the administration password (password to log in as the computer's owner), you cannot remove the password because it is part of the computer's safety protocol. You can change the password only.
