Question about Video Game Consoles
You broke your psp umd disk drive. It is easily replaceable by buying a replacement PSP umd drive on ebay.com for around $16. Then search on youtube.com "how to replace psp umd drive" and that should do the trick. Hope this helps

One of the most common reasons why a PSP would not be able to recognize discs is if the lens itself has become dirty. Dirt, lint, and other objects can prevent the PSP’s laser from reading the discs correctly, which may (in some cases) prompt an error message.
You may wish to try cleaning the lens yourself to see if this resolves the issue. If you are unsure how to do this, you may always refer to the troubleshooting FAQ’s in your PSP owner’s manual documentation for instructions, or should be able to obtain a lens cleaning kit from a local retail store.
In the event that cleaning the lens doesn’t solve the problem, you may need to contact Sony directly for further assistance. Most manufacturers can provide phone technical support while the manufacturer’s warranty is still in effect, and some retailers are able to provide you with other options if you purchased any additional coverage (such as repair or replacement plans) that may have been offered at the time of sale.
Hope this helps you out.
