Check out this possibilities for water not draining in the washing machine:
This problem relates to the
hose connected to drain pump. The drain hose should not be in laundry tub more
then 4 to 5 inches. Measure it and if it’s more then 4 to 5 inch then cut the
excess hose in the tub. If your drain hose is lower than the washer's cabinet,
install an air gap/siphon break assembly. But if the drain pump hoses are ok
checked then this problem relates to slow drain of water from laundry tub. You
can solve this issue by cleaning the drain pump blockages and dirt build up this
will make the flow of water proper in the draining of the laundry tub. This will help.thanks.
CHECK TO SEE IF THE DRAIN HOSE IS RAISED ABOVE THE REQUIRED HEIGHT. IF THE WATER IS OVER FLOWING THE TUB THEN IT IS USUALLY THE A BLOCKAGE IN THE PRESSURE SWITCH HOSE, OR SOME INABILITY OF THE WATER LEVEL SWITCH TO MEASURE THE AMOUNT OF WATER IN THE TUB.
for the top loading washing machine mostly have drain pump, please check the filter of your drain pump, if clog your drain pump of some hair pins, cotton buds or coins or any small item, that the cause of water stuck, and it will long time draining or totally not running the drain pump.and its cause of stop of cycle of washing machine in rinse time or spin time, because after washing the pump must be on to remove water before start the next cycle.and the unit top load have drain pump you must be up the drain hose up to 90cm from floor lever to make the water lever is make in normal, the water automatically goes out by drain pump. and for unbalance most of all top loader have problem in unbalance, the main reason is overload or the type of cloth you wash.
Hi parag vyas - This is
not a normal location for the water to be leaking and often it is because the
water is leaking out of the rear tub. More
than likely, the unit is not draining properly or a damage tub. Therefore, as
the tub spins, the centrifugal force is driving the water up the sides of the
tub. At this point, I personally
recommend consulting a certified technician for an accurate diagnosis and to
assist with the repair(s).
The automatic clothes washing machine counts on a pressured water system - like what is provided in a town / city or from a well that has a pressure system to deliver water at pressure like when you open a valve for a bath tub, sink or shower.
You need to have a plumber provide valve/faucets for both hot and cold water. The valves are sometimes called a "hose bibb" with a threaded end that the hoses connect to and then are connected to the back of the washer. When the hoses are connected and the valves are open, the automatic washer will open a solenoid valve when the time is right to allow water to flow in, then closees. Some owners keep the hose bibb valves open forever after they connect the washer, others close the valves after they are done washing all loads for the day/week.
You will also need a drain provided that connects into the house plumbing. The Whirlpool Duet provides the drain hose from the washer which drops into the pipe the plumber provides. It is important that the drain pipe allow air to move past the washers drain hose, to allow proper draining.
Hope that helps. Please post back how things come out, OK?
A HOSE CAME OFF--THE DRAIN HOSE HAS A CRACK IN IT-- THE OUTER TUB IS PLASTIC SO IT COULD HAVE A HOLE IN IT---THE DRAIN PUMP IS LOCATED FRONT BOTTOM OF YOUR MACHINE IT COULD HAVE WORN A HOLE IN IT (PLASTIC ALSO)
probably rubber hose from tub to pump broke, access from back or bottom, (cabrios are open bottom) pump in rear. there is a recent bulletin about tub ring not channeling water from dispenser completely into tub
