I downloaded songs onto my mp3 player, but they are not on the mp3 player, you can't listen to them. But if you plug it in to the computer, media player shows the songs as being on the mp3 player and you can listen to them. How do I get them to show up on the mp3 player?

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet to your computer and then copy them to your MP3 player using the USB cable. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable to the MP3 player and the computer. You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player will create a MP3 music file for each music track. Downloading songs to an MP3 player is similar on all the MP 3 players.
If you would like to download to your MP# player and then listen to MP3 files on your computer, then you need: 1.An Internet connection 2.An MP3 player.
If you find a song on the web as MP3 file, and you like to download it to your hard disk , all you have to do, double click on it. Most songs range between 2 and 4 MB, so it will take 10 to 15 minutes unless you have a high-speed Internet connection. Once the song has finished downloading, try to double-click on the file and see what happens.
Once you have downloaded the songs, connect the MP3 player with the computer via the USB cable that has been given in the box.
One end to go inside the MP3 palayer and the other to go in the usb port on the computer. The moment you connect the MP3 player the somputer will detect the MP3 player. You can then save the copy of songs you have downladed on your MP3 player. You can select the sond saved on your compuet by doing a CTRL+C key and then go to:
2.Under the drives section it will show your MP3 player.
3.Click on the player to go inside so that you you can do a A CTRL+V and copy the songs on the MP3 player.
That should do the trick and you shoudl be able to listen to your favourite songs on the move.

Delete any songs you put on the player and start over
It took me a bit to figure out how to get the music to play. The instuctions that came with it weren't very clear.
* Hold arrow "on" button down to turn on player.
* Use rocker (knob on top) to move to the mode you want. For example, move the indicator to "music".
* Push in on the rocker, not the arrow "on" button to select the music mode.
* Use the rocker to select the song you want to hear, then push arrow "on" button to play.
Don't worry about it, simply go plug in your mp3 player to the computer and sign in to Rhapsody. Go to your play list and the songs should be there. Unplug your MP3 player and it should work. You have to do this because the warrant or license on your songs is up and you have to plug in your mp3 player to renew that license to keep listening to it. Hope this helps! It worked for me!
You can either rip songs from CD's onto your computer then upload them onto your MP3 player otherwise there are also various websites you can also get for free or buy songs that are in the format of your player. you can visit the manufacturers website information, based upon the information you have left on here, to see suggestions or directions on how to.
