check your timing chain to be sure that it has not skipped a link, as this will cause a bent valve. Or the tensioner has slipped causing the chain to slap. This is a service must on the yamaha from year one.
I have a new bajaj 150 2010 model. but my bike does not have much pik up as in earlier models of bajaj 150. what should i do to increase its pick up......
Hi ,
I even had pulsar black and i did the following . And to be honest almost appreciated my effort
2 piece handle bar
Put bike fairings that suits ur bike color .
Replace the back wheel with a wheel that has a broad wheelbase
increase the Height of the seat .It can be done by replacing the metal rod that is right above the suspension .it's height will be more compared to the normal one ..
Fit a good air filter of ur choice for pick up and of course pick up .
Take off the mirrors and saree guard .
Stickering also change the look and feel of the bike
I dont think so.If the bike has done 16000kms then it is possible that the tyres are finished with the best part. If you are having 40 grands to spend for an old bike, it iis much bettter to go for a new bike,Give a downpayment of 20000 with the rest on an easy loan instalment scheme , you will money with you for the next 10 instalments but still have a trouble free new bike for al least three years, so the saving on your service will stand good later and the resale when you can sell a first owner bike. So think and decide. Good day
Hi Nilesh, it depends what are you looking for in a bike, the looks, the speed , the reliability, toughness and easy maintenance one and last off course the one tht can suit your pockeet!
Being in Mumbai , I guess there are so many bikes around, try to get a on hand opinion from the users who already have the type of bike you want to buy, tht way you will have a very frank opinion and thus you can decide wwhat to go for!
Good luck!
a compression test could be in order-buy a clymer manual and cylinder comp kit however make sure your not neglecting maintenance-check plugs and wires/coil also inspect carbs and fuel system
ok so its a brand new bike..
though the engine comes with proper boring nowdays but
still you shold maintain low speeds initially as
they are bits which take time to settle.
did you ever meet an accident??
this may be a handling problem too..,may be
the bike is disbalanced.
get it checked in the service centre only..
Hope it works..:))
