In that case, have a look at the wii manual and at the last page, there will be a number. Ring it and ask if they could replace you USB ports. You may lose everything on your wii. You'll just have to ask. You could also check support.nintendo.com.

Does not turn on

Most power issues with the Wii can be fixed by resetting the AC adapter. You can easily reset the AC adapter by following these steps:

1. Unplug the Wii AC adapter at both ends (from the back of the Wii system and from the wall outlet or power strip).

2. The AC adapter must remain unplugged at both ends for a full 2 minutes.

3. I also recommend you unplug anything connected to the USB ports and the Nintendo GameCube Controller ports (such as LAN Adapters, keyboards, Nintendo GameCube controllers, etc.).

4. While you're waiting, check the AC Adapter for the following:
Make sure that the word "Wii" and the model number "RVL-002 (USA)" molded into the AC adapter. Unlicensed products are not fully compatible and may not work correctly.

5. Check the AC Adapter for physical damage. Physical damage, such as frayed wiring or a cracked housing can cause the system to shut down. If your AC Adapter shows signs of physical damage and needs to be replaced, you can purchase one from Nintendo's online store.

6. After you've waited 2 minutes, plug the AC adapter into the Wii system and into an outlet, If the power light comes on and stays on, then it appears resetting the AC Adapter worked.

My wire internet is not connecting to my wii what can i do so i can get the internet to work on my wii judy

  1. If your connection worked previously, check to see if there is a Wii System Update that you have not aquired. To get the latest Wii System Update:
    1. From the Wii's main menu, select the Wii icon along the bottom left of the screen.
    2. Select "Wii Settings".
    3. Click the left arrow to get to Wii System Settings 3
    4. Choose "Wii System Update"
    5. Choose "Yes" to connect to the internet and perform a Wii system update.

  2. Make sure that you are using the Wii LAN Adapter made by Nintendo (click here for a picture and connection steps). LAN adapters not made by Nintendo likely will not work with the Wii console.

  3. Check to make sure you are not running the Wii LAN Adapter from a USB hub (a device that connects multiple USB products through a single device), as this will likely not work. Connect the USB Connector directly to the modem or router.

  4. Ensure that the Wii LAN Adapter setup is correct, and that the Wii LAN Adapter was connected with the console turned off. For step by step connection instructions, please click here.

  5. Check to see if the ethernet cable you are using is not working properly, by connecting another ethernet cable from your router/modem to the Wii LAN Adapter. If the connection works using a different cable, then the problem was with the first cable.

  6. If possible, try another Wii LAN Adapter.

I have no power to my wii what could be wrong

Most power issues with the Wii can be fixed by resetting the AC adapter. You can easily reset the AC adapter by following these steps:

Unplug the Wii AC adapter at both ends (from the back of the Wii system and from the wall outlet or power strip).

The AC adapter must remain unplugged at both ends for a full 2 minutes.
Unplug anything connected to the USB ports and the Nintendo GameCube Controller ports.

While you're waiting, check the AC Adapter for the following:
Make sure that the word "Wii" and the model number "RVL-002 (USA)" molded into the AC adapter.

Check the AC Adapter for physical damage.
After you've waited 2 minutes, plug the AC adapter into the Wii system and directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector or power strip. If the power light comes on and stays on, then it appears resetting the AC Adapter worked.

If resetting the AC Adapter did not fix your power issues:
Avoid the use of unlicensed products such as memory cards, controllers, and cheat devices.
Check any accessories that connect to the Nintendo GameCube Controller ports or the USB ports of the Wii -- whether licensed or not -- for physical damage.
Make sure the Wii has good ventilation. Avoid operating the Wii while it's on carpeting or inside an enclosed space. If you have the Wii placed in a vertical position, make sure the vent on the bottom is lined up properly with the hole in the plastic stand and no foreign material is obstructing that hole.
Check the vents on the back and side of the Wii for dust build up. If there is a build-up, remove it using a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush attachment.
Make sure that your wall outlet works. To check it, try plugging a lamp into the same outlet where your system was plugged in.
Make sure the AC adapter is attached properly. Firmly plug your AC adapter into the back of the Wii (the port is labeled 12V IN) and into a working wall outlet (not a power strip or surge protector).
Once plugged in, check the power light on the Power button to see if the system is receiving power.
If the power is still continually shutting off regularly, contact Wii support.

Trying to connect with a wired connection that works because i know i use it for my xbox but it says something like code error 51420

not every USB to Ethernet adapter works for the Wii. Here's what I've found from Nintendo's site. You may need to connect with your Wi-Fi and update it first.

Error Code: 51420

The Wii console is not able to connect to your wired router or modem.

If you are unable to try another Wii LAN Adapter, or are still receiving this error code, please call 1-800-255-3700 for assistance.

Having problems with Nintendo Wii Beatles game. It allows for only one device (guitar, microphone, drums etc.) to be conntected. When the guitar is plugged in it does not recognize the mic and when the...

I dealt with Beatles Rockband Wii on 2 systems with 2 different configurations.
  1. Wireless Drum kit configuration. The Drum USB Transmitter has 2 additional USB ports, that allow Guitar/mic to be connected, plus there is the remaining USB port on the Wii
  2. Wired Drum kit comes with a 4 port USB hub, connect the hub to the Wii, and connect all instruments to the USB hub.
The Wii will only allow 4 controllers connected at once. So if you have multiple Wii Motes, then you may have to disconnect all but the one used for the Mic player (Press 1 on the Wii mote to unsync or remove the batteries)
