My ilo model number mp-556 suddenly stopped working so I put in a new battery and all I could get out of it was a loading screen. if you have a ilo model mp-556 (on the back cover) this page has links to the firmware ... i follow the instruction and got mine working.
u might need to use the reformat as well as the upgrade firmware to make your list read the same. reformating will set your storage area back to factory specs. i e delete all your songs on your player
