Question about Dell OptiPlex GX260 PC Desktop
I re-installed winXP, but now I am haveing problems as I do not have network, sound and terrible video (all are integrated to the motherboard (PLANER (motherboard)..,GX260,845G). I checked the forum and try to download from dell site http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen&ServiceTag=&SystemID=PLX_PNT_P4_GX260&os=WW1&osl=en&catid=&impid=
but for some reason I cannot download may be dell is not oferring any more. Please help me.
I recently reinstalled a Dell OptiPlex GX260 using the drivers from the website with no problem.
Your posted link is the correct one.
You have to install the CHIPSET driver first as this links Windows to the various motherboard parts, then install the individual drivers (audio, video, etc.)
